Hi my name is Rob, I've been driving a 97 Honda Prelude for a couple years. With the recent increase in gas prices I started driving more conservatively and increased my milage from 28 to 33 mpg. After I found this site last week it encouraged me to try harder and I hit 36mpg on my last tank of gas :) My goal is to try to hit 40mpg.

and welcome to the club. You should start with the article “Beating the EPA” (http://www.cleanmpg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1510).
Next, make sure your tires are aired up to the maximum pressure indicated on the tire’s sidewall and consider purchasing a ScanGaugeII.
Also, make sure you know your car’s EPA rating which can be found at www.fueleconomy.gov.
