Hya! I heard about this group buy from over on the GenVibe Forums and I'd like to get in on this. What do I need to do to get on-board?

So far I've managed to push out +35mpg on my base Vibe and I've been eyeballing the ScanGauge for a bit now. I'm learning some great techniques for saving fuel from this site!

Yes indeed. This one is 36 pages. I have not printed it yet, since I've been reading here on the PC anyways.
I'm hoping a new manual with an Index will come with my SGII package. :)

I am an old retired guy with a rapidly dropping IQ, so all I'm hoping for is to be
able to get a good setup and learn to display (and understand) the basic stuff I'll need for learning FE.

And, I actually need a scan tool for checking engine light problems. ;)

Rich, he won't be able to respond for a couple of days. He's currently in NYC where he drove on a single tank of gas in a Prius for a CBS special.

Looks like it takes a week or two depending on the interest. Usually lets it get to 15 purchases before closing it and sending the orders off to linear logics.

I have a 2008 Toyota Prius. We drive 30 miles a day from sea level to about 1200 ft and then back down to sea level. About 30% mountains. Would one of these be good to get even better gas mileage?

Right now we get 51.4 average on a daily basis and have gotten as high as 55 if I am really focusing on gas mileage.

Not to sound impatient, but does anyone know how the manufacturer generally ships the Scangauge and roughly how long it takes to get to most locations?

That's pretty low cost shipping. I guess we are going to hear from Wayne tomorrow,
since he left NYC about 11 this morning and is expected to get home late tonight.

It would be nice if Linear-Logic (Mesa, AZ) sent them out on Monday. :rolleyes:
If they did, some people might be getting them pretty soon.

___Linear Logic sometimes ships the same day and sometimes up to 3 business days later. Between 2 and 4 days per USPS and they are in your hands. I have one that appears to have not yet arrived from Group Buy #7 that I have to look into for Andy P.. Andy, this is a Group Buy, not an immediate ship. All went out last week but I will call and find out about your SG-II’s status. Give me a few hours for them to open up shop and I will call/E-Mail/CC you with the reply for a track and tracking number for your SG-II.

That might take a while. Since on this particular weekend, there is so much traffic
around here, it's tough to get onto any main road.. :(

At about 3:30PM, we took a quick shot at getting onto Rt95 to set the speed (in KM) and it was
bumper-2-bumper just to get close. At about 350 yards, I could see 16 wheelers rolling along about 5mph.. :( We turned back..

Maybe this is something that should be done late at night.. ;)
