Has anyone on here got any experience with converting a gasoline engine to run on LPG (Propane)? I have a car which I've been wondering what to do with it, and I think it may be a good candidate for an LPG conversion. From what I've read, converting a carbureted gasoline engine to run on LPG isn't very expensive and the major components are easy to get and are relatively inexpensive (Tank, carb, etc..)

If anyone has some input on this I would really appreciate it. Is it worth the effort? I am under the impression that LPG burns pretty clean, am I wrong?

Cheers,
Dave

I'm looking to do the same, please let me know what you've learned.

Here in Canada it runs about $2000 dollars. Not many cars with carbs anymore so have not heard much on this of late. You loose about 20% in FE so consider this when pricing the savings! Hal
