H IS FOR HYBRID
Several sources are confirming Honda's plans for hybrid versions of the Fit and the CR-V. The Fit is due next year; the CR-V, late 2006.
Hi Terry:
___The last I read, the Honda Fit will not be the platform of choice for Honda’s next gen hybrid. I do however believe Honda will bring the Honda City (Fit’s 4 door sedan brethren from Asia) over with the HCH-II’s hybrid drive train given all the hype over Honda’s next gen hybrid? B-Class sized Sub, relatively lightweight, relatively aerodynamic, and no new complete redesign needed as the City can be equipped with the HCH-II’s 1.3 right from the factory. Maybe the Fit/Jazz/City redesign will be the actual arrival but Honda wants to follow the Prius II path and offer a hybrid that cannot be directly compared to any other model in their lineup. The Honda City would fit that bill nicely …
___Good Luck

i'd still pick the honda fit though just because i have better chances of fitting a widescreen tv in there than a honda city ;P
but a CRV! oh i cant wait for those details!

i, too, will watch to see what is done with the crv. i sold mine to get my HCH last year when gas prices spiked in sept. i really loved the vehicle, but with my 80 miles dailly on the road, the 22 mpg was just not worth it.......
