The concentration of additives in the fuel is very low - even if the additive was completely inert it should make that big a difference. It could be your recent driving conditions are to blame. Try running a few more tanks for more data.

Is that the Corkscrew @ Laguna Seca in your profile picture?

Temperatures can kill you, and if you drive short distances they can kill you and then dance a jig on your empty gas tank. Just one of those little arrows we all have to dodge, unfortunately.

Or you got a tank of bad gas. Just fight the good fight and see what happens.

If you test new brands of gas, make sure you test at least 30-50 consecutive gallons on each brand before switching (about 5 months supply for me). I found that fuel trim tables wiggle a lot whenever I change brands. Any wiggle in my trim tables kill my FE, especially on my MMH.

My suggestion, Pick a Brand, A Station, and a Pump at that station. Always fill at the same pump and if possible at the same time on the same day of the week. I think this will help more than anything.

Keep in mind, they are about to switch to summer gas, so you'll get hit with that where ever you go.
