Toyota Motor Corp. is expected to announce today that it has sold 60,000 hybrids this year -- a development that will start reducing a tax incentive to buy the fuel-efficient vehicles.

Actually, the tax credit goes through the end of this Quarter (September). At least as I understand it, the tax credit doesn't start to decline until after the Quarter following the one where the 60k vehicle limit is reached. It's in the fine print!
