Import tanks into mileage logs?

I (like many others) maintain my tank logs in a spreadsheet. I keep pad & paper in my car and then update the spreadsheet once every 3 or 4 weeks. The last time I entered anything into my mileage log on the site, though, was about 4 months ago. I find tabbing/clicking through the fields and then having to do it all over again for the next tank a bit of a pain.

Would it be possible to implement an import process that would take a file of comma-separated values and add those entries into a member's mileage log?

It could be a simple format of only the required entries:
    date,distance,fuel

Or a more complex one that includes flags to indicate miles/kilometers, US/UK gals/liters, Fuel type, techniques, etc.

    Just curious.

Yes, it is possible. If I implemented it, I would just have radio buttons for you to put in your distance units and fuel units. (i.e. km, or miles; gallons (us), (uk), and liters). It really isn't a hard thing to implement, and with my time off (i.e. being unemployed at the moment, I might find time to do it.
