Trump’s Failed Coup D’état May Have Had Even Darker Motives

I don't know what Trump and the fools were thinking? It was such a long shot at what they were ultimately trying to do IF it can be proven that the master plan was to declare martial law?

The Police have been alienated as a collective by the radical left and it makes sense that some would gravitate to the side that supports them. Biden needs to unify the country and not alienate them as a whole.

I hope they can but what does the Constitution allow? The best Constitutionally may be that he gets impeached fully so that he can no longer hold public office? I bet Don Jr will be groomed for 20224.

Police & your defined “radical left” has nothing to do with this thread. President-Elect (Nancy Pelosi needs to be President-Temp now) Biden does NOT need to do what re-pubic-lick-uns, QAnon & other radical right-wing posters (you?) want. Right-wing insurrectionists need NOT BE UNIFIED into the country.

No It has to do with you because you are the "radical left" What ever the constitution stipulates to be done is what should be done. If that means Pelosi then so be it. If that means Pence so be it or what ever the constitutions stipulates. We fallow the constitution!, what ever that may be and not your radical views Antifa posters (you)? want. No radical elements of ANY wing should not be united into the country.

Trump was simply thinking losing is unacceptable, and it is better to be a winner no matter how it is accomplished. I don't think there was any master plan for this event. Trump's true believers simply accepted his claims of election fraud as fact without looking into the evidence. This could have started like the Area 51 invasion, as a random post that came from an area of belief in Trump than humor. I can see Trump prodding anything along, because he'd rather have things crash and burn than admit defeat.

There were members of the far right among police long before Trump ran for office and the BLM movement, and they do unevenly enforce laws with small to major events.

Insurrection Day will live in infamy. As we now know, this wasn't merely an attempt to disrupt the counting of Electoral ballots (which were very nearly destroyed, a situation that itself would have created an unspeakable Constitutional crisis as the Electors would have had to meet again, a logistical nightmare). But we now know it was an attempt to capture and execute various officials including Mike Pence, Nancy Pelosi, Mitch McConnell, and probably others. That gallows set up in front of the Capitol was functional - and the insurrectionists intended to use it.

This wasn't mere rioting or protesting gone haywire. It was an act of war and an attempt to overthrow the United States government, and therefore an act of treason. Various criminal laws under Title 18 were violated by a wide range of actors, including Seditious Conspiracy, Attempt to Overthrow, Insurrection and Uprising and Treason itself. Those who participated, and those who encouraged this (there were people posting plans for this on public forums last month!) all need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of federal law.

    Hi All:

As it stands tonight, 2 Capital Police Officers are dead, one of suicide on Jan 12, 3-days after the insurrection, 2 officers have been suspended for supporting the rioters, and another dozen plus are under investigation for their activities in helping the right wing rioters.

The war isn’t over. re-pubic-lick-uns still minimize the rebellion of last Wednesday, spread QAnon rumors(as here), support “don’T rump” & block efforts to remove him(it) from office. “don’t rump” blames others for Wednesday’s Washington DC & state capitol attacks. Attacks against the many state capitols may continue & in greater frequency. Tho some states suppress open weapons carry, concealed weapons carry is still allowed.

As insurrectionist “don’T rump” dy-nasty comes to an end, some republicans try to cut from insurrectionist “don’T rump”. Even re-pubic-lick-un Mitch McConnell “welcomes” impeachment of insurrectionist “don’T rump”. It still does NOT change my opinion that McConnell needs to be arrested with all the high up re-pubic-lick-uns & other supporters of insurrectionist “don’T rump”.

    Hi All:

The second impeachment has been certified by the vote of 232 to 197. 10 Republicans voted to impeach this time around.

    Hi All:

Amid Trump incitements of a seditious mob to attack the Capitol last week, the PGA of America has stripped its namesake championship from Trump’s Bedminister, New Jersey, golf course next year. A British golf organization said the British Open will not be played at a Trump property in the “foreseeable future.”

Shopify stopped helping run the online Trump Store.

New York City said it was canceling contracts with Trump for skating rinks and a golf course in the Bronx.

Deutsche Bank AG, Signature Bank, and Professional Holding Corp. distynaced themselves from POTUS Trump since the deadly Jan. 6 riot by the president’s supporters.

Yet, many websites will NOT allow critiques of “don’T rump”, because ‘it deals in politics”. Such websites would have aided “don’T rump” if the attack on the Congress had been successful, hundreds of congress-persons would have been killed & “don’T rump” would have installed a dictatorship.

    Hi Litesong:

If even one member of Congress was killed in either of the House or Senate chambers, even the Trump supporters in the House and Senate would have no other solution than to have him impeached AND Convicted in the Senate. It would have happened already too.

The U.S. Capitol Policeman that lost his life was disgusting enough. I have seen posts from Trump Supporters asking about dead officers in Portland, Seattle, and Kenosha after BLM protests. I replied, what dead officers in those cities or any other city since there were none. They always pivot to some mythical Trump accomplishment after the facts are pointed out.
