Welcome back to the grind :D

The national average gas price is down a chunky 10.8¢ (-4.2%) since last month at $2.477 - this time last year it was lower at $2.262 so it's 21.5¢ (9.5%) dearer.
Diesel is down 6¢ (-2%) at $2.947. It's 2.5¢ (0.9%) dearer than this time last year. Diesel is at a hefty 19% premium to regular.
    E85 is down 11.9¢ (-5.1%) to $2.220 - a year ago it was $2.010 so 21¢ (10.4%) dearer.

Now that I know how long it takes . I could do a bit more gliding tomorrow AM.

I always like to slowly wake up , drink my coffee , and read the paper (Internet) every morning at work.
So , yes , I do usually get there 55-60 min before I actually start working.
I volunteered to open the plant , because I was tired of waiting in my car for the guy
who was opening up before me.
Today , 35 deg F in Bolingbrook and Wood Dale , 36 in Toronto.
    27.5 miles , 61.9 MPG.

Our local (& generally state) gas prices are much higher. Last month I got gas below the national average, when I gas upped while out of my local area. But, now ya dropped the national average EVEN MORE. How do you expect me to get cheap gas, when you drop the gas price, everywhere else but here!!!

We got ~ 2" of snow that didn't stick. All it did was make the grass look a lighter shade of green.

Car pooler is taking his old but recently purchased Range Rover for a service on the LPG (propane in the US?) system (which was causing a misfire when it switched back to gas) straight from work so 1UP this morning, just below freezing 31°F and foggy, tail/crosswind ESE3:
    48.6 (FCD 51.1) / 21.5 - nice to see over 50 on the FCD

    Tank up 0.7 at 44.1 (FCD 46.5) / 111.6 / Range 515 . Guess gauge F««««|««««E . UG up 0.8 at 47.1 / DTE 525

Filled up at a Mobil in Glen Ellyn yesterday on the way home. 579.1 miles , fcd = 62.8 x 0.956 = 60.0 MPG.
Actual gallons pumped ( car was not level ) was 9.878. 87 E10 was $2.639.
Today , 25 deg F in Naperville , 24 in Wood Dale and Toronto.
Wunderground said winds were WNW but the flag on Brummel Ave showed wind coming from the NE.
Could be worse for a tank in February.

Sure, but vs. EPA rating, anyone would be happy with your winter performance.

Apples vs oranges. I don't even pretend to be as skillful or committed as you , Andrew.
When you had the Civic AND longer trips , you easily beat my Prius results.
    You da man.
