    Hi All:

It was not just our 2017 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Limited with NAVI that lost it but hundreds of thousands of recent model Hyundai's that apparently lost their GPS time functionality two days ago.

I fixed ours by booting up the car, pulling the NAVI SD card with the car booted up, and reinserting the SD card after 10 seconds. The NAVI reboots and about 30 seconds later, the time and date functions are restored in working order.

Just a FYI in case yours is showing a random time and a 1969 or 2035 date.

Same thing happened to me Wayne, same fix worked too. Any idea what the cause is?
