Welcome back to the grind :D

The national average gas price is up 16.1¢ (+7.1%) since last month at $2.423 - this time last year it was up at $2.540 so it's 11.7¢ (-4.6%) cheaper.

Diesel is only up 6.5¢ (+2.2%) at $2.987. It's 3.4¢ (+1.2%) dearer than this time last year. Diesel is at a reducing 23.3% premium to regular.

    E85 is up 15¢ (+7.4%) to $2.160 - a year ago it was $2.120 so 4¢ (-5.2%) dearer.

You're really racking up the miles. My car will be four years old on April 25 ,
and it will probably have 83K miles by then.

    Today , 27 deg F. A shorter trip today ( 16.7 miles ) , but eight miles of it was Interstate. I
hate to burn all the fuel to get the car up to 55 MPH to go only eight miles , but time was short.
Also , there was some freezing rain , so I needed defrost most of the time. 50.78 MPG for the trip.
Tank is at 304.6 miles , 54.13 MPG. I pulled a bonehead move ; I accidentally reset Trip A , the one I use for the tank.
I will just try to keep it above 58.2 fcd ( 54.13 actual) for the rest of this tank.

That's too easy to do. I did it a few times, mostly at first. Eventually I learned I must be quick on the Trip button to avoid accidentally resetting "A" or "B."

I've done it too, but not from a slow button push. I put the blame squarely on my lack of focus.

Also done that, also blame lack of focus

My car will be 4 years old on a July 12 and I’ve only done 26.5k miles so 29 to 30k by then. Car pooling saves me maybe 4K a year :)

    Back home, 48°F, crosswind S9:
    49.3 / 26.8

    Tank up 0.4 at 45.3 (FCD 47.7) / 549.8 / Range 40 . Guess gauge F____|___«E . UG steady at 44.7 / DTE 54

Definition of spring : that's when I get my first 60 MPG tank of the year.

Summer ? That would be 70.
