    Annual inspection over lunch.
    Good news: passed.
Good news: the shop is just around the corner.
Bad news: they left it idling while running paperwork.
    12.1 mpg / 0.6 mi.

    I hate that Andrew

My mum (75) has decided she doesn't want to drive anymore so we're going to buy her car off her and sell my wife's 8yr old Jazz/Fit. It's a 3 yr old Hyundai i10 1.2SE and it's only done 6000 miles.

Drove it to work this morning and managed 51.7mpg over 22.6 miles without really trying according to the FCD - not bad!

Gord - Hyundai i10 = hatchback? Smaller than the Jazz, right?

50.8 / 11.5 to school and work this morning. Low 30's and typical January gray.

    Tank 51.3 / 429. F____|__/__E

I think I will visit the Hyundai UK website. I'll probably come out of there either
angry or disappointed , but then I can write an ( angry ) email to Hyundai USA.

That’s right Andrew - it’s a bit smaller and a hatchback. Drives well and seems economical. It’s even got cruise control!
    Thanks Bill :)

Hummer drivers would be upset with such MPG. Then, they would lower it. None of that double digit MPG fer them.
