Thanks , Gord. Today , wunderground said 61 deg F , wind NNE 0 MPH. I would just say
"calm" , or "no wind". 15.5 miles , 81.75 MPG. Tank is at 365.6 miles , 75.05 MPG.

    Happy Birthday !

    "0" is more concise.

The "NNE" is a puzzle at 0 MPH, though! Maybe detected at 0.4 mph, which rounds to zero?

Today , 67 deg F , wind SE 1-5. Had some bad luck and missed some crucial glides today.
15.5 miles , 75.7 MPG. Tank is at 398.1 miles , 74.96 MPG. Going straight home after work today ,
so I may be able to bring it back to 75. Then about 15 miles on the bike before dinner.

Wow Andrew, sorry to hear about the bite. Glad your feeling better. That will take a while to get back to your push ups :(

Family loaded up the Sonata and headed on vacation on 7/17. We traveled to Duluth MN to see where our Son was born 14 years ago (nearly 15 now), and see old friends. Then Headed across the U.P. and stopped in Marquette. Then Off to see the Locks at Sault St Marie and stay a few days in St Ignace on the north side of the Mackinac Bridge in the UP. Then back down home. All told over 2,500 miles in 11 days. That was about 38-39 hours of driving. Weather was great with temps in the mid to upper 60's F in Duluth with the winds off of Lake Superior to just under 80 F in St Ignace, but winds were still a blessing off of Lake Huron and Michigan. Lots of beautiful country and Lots of corn :p. And Cheese in Wisconsin is the BEST!!!!!

It took about 4.5 tanks to drive that. The Sonata was poised as always even loaded down to the gills. We had a low tank of about 36.0 MPG and a high of 39.2 MPG. (the 39 came way of a no corn squeezing's gas) It was at 40 for a long time. Average over the whole was about 37.2 with a full loaded full size car. I'll take that.

Got back Friday 7/27 and knew I would have to mow when I got back. So Saturday morning (after a good nights sleep in my own bed), I got up and took misFit to Lowes for some shopping for Trimmer line (and other stuff I didn't even know I needed ).
    58.0 / 9.1 miles (81F E@6 with heat index of 86F already at 9 AM)
48.9 / 9.1 miles (can you tell which way is up hill?)

    Tank
    46.9 MPG
    1.50 gals converted
    70.4 miles

    Today , 63 deg F , wind ENE 2-3. 15.4 miles , 83.61 MPG.
    Tank is still at 5 of 10 pips , 429.0 miles , 75.33 MPG.

I'm guessing the 48.9 trip is uphill.

Snake bite update. I'm back at work for half days. No driving while I'm on narcotic painkillers so family is taxiing me.

Swelling is gone. My arm is yellow now, like an old bruise. It hurts if I let it down to my side but is fine if I keep it up resting on a pillow. My fingers are working. My wrist screams at me if I bend it.

    All in, great progress.

It's nice to see the fcd hit 90 , happens once in a while.
    15.4 miles , fcd = 90.8 x .93 = 84.44 MPG.
Tank is at 528.7 miles , 75.79 MPG. On my way to a new PR ? I know
I can do more than 739.9 miles , my longest tank so far. We shall see.
