I filled up yesterday. I was aiming for the year's first 50 mpg, a tall order with half the tank on the highway.
    550 mi
    11.000 gallons
50.0 mpg EXACTLY! (and that's filled to the brim like always, I didn't fudge the numbers at all)

54 / 11.4 to school and work this morning.

Got a call yesterday afternoon from the wife. She stated that the son had forgot to get on the bus and if I could pick him up as she was giving a midterm test. Got ok from the Boss and drove to get him at the Jr High in downtown. Thunder rumbed and the roads were wet with light rain.

    47.1 / 10.5 miles (60F / E@5)

    Tank
    11.2 gals converted
    540.1 miles
needle is now under the E Line. (I will need to fill tomorrow when I go to get taxes done over lunch) First fill since July 9 2017. :0)

I feel for you, but I suspect your humidity is higher and it feels a lot colder than 23* does here. I think the wet slushy snow at those temps is probably worse than when it's really cold and snowing. I find the roads Ice up worse and it gets quite slick. Hope it's a short lived storm. Forecast is for snow here tomorrow as well.

    42.3 - 4 mi. to work, -1*F this morning.

Thanks puddleglum, I think you’re right! Forecast not great

Uphill approaching home - very slow:

This morning, 2UP, more snow, slushy roads, set off even earlier - slow - took extra 15 minutes to get to work, 16 head/crosswind ENE, cold 25°F:

Home for lunch to feed the lamb, at least the rain stopped. Lamb is thriving, has doubled in size. Now it needs to learn how to be a sheep and eat the grass.
