My GM is retiring on the first and I'm at a total lose on what to get her. I got her a Crystal Sail Boat for her 20th and a mantel clock for her 25th, both with engraved brass plaques, she's been with me for 29 years.

I'm trying to think of something to get her at or just under $500.

    Thanks

    Al

    Hmmm
$$ is never a BAD GIFT?
But maybe that is the practical side of me?

Get her 3/4 of a bitcoin.

Sure , but how do you gift-wrap a virtual gift ? Women like that stuff.

    Hi Al:

Marian is saying a Spa weekend or open ended airline tickets.

My advice is to simply ask her of what she really like to buy without telling first that you are surprising her with a gift. One thing more, its not the gift that counts but the thoughts and efforts that you have for it will matter much. As a woman, I'm sure that she will appreciate any gifts she'll ever receive. Being appreciated is a big thing already.

I should have updated you guys, we had her retirement party last Sunday. I ended up getting her a really pretty cherry wood jewelry box and a nice Bulova watch to go in it.

A watch or a signature bangle. But I prefer watch so she would always remember the time she/he spent with you and your company.

  12. Well, that's a very good choice especially the Bulova watch. A jewelry box is a perfect gift too! Besides, best things are found in small packages:)

I keep forgetting we sometimes have women here. I should probably put on a shirt.
