Fantastic. Mitsubishi should be paying you endorsement fees, I sorta want one now.

Nice, yes you should see mpg climb for a "while" as it gets looser, but hard to predict when exactly it will hit optimum...

Not sure on my Note which had a couple of thousand on, whether it's really run in fully yet or not, or whether I'll still see slight improvement.

It took about 20k for wife's Kia to start turning decent numbers.

My car took about 6000 miles before hitting its prime, mpg-wise. After the first thousand miles or so, most further improvement is probably in the tires.

My co-worker pointed out to me the Consumer Reports article on the Mirage and said "See what they say ?"
I told him that they are entitled to their own lame opinion. I'm really wanting to get a new car , even though my Civic has only 81K miles ( still a baby). I do want to wait until I can get out of this house and 500-mile-per-week commute before pulling the trigger on a car. I'm getting 48 MPG right now , but I could do SO much better with a Mirage.

You can't believe all the negative things that our good o consumer reports put out! They promote one. Car and SLAM The other! I would go test the car out for yourselves. And when you realize what the car was made for you soon realize you have a really Good Deal
A 10 yr warranty and GREAT gas mileage.every car out there has its good points and. Bad points.:Banane06:

Just a update from the last post.I'm used to getting good MPG I had to get rid of the Festvia and got this focus. The focus only gets 25+30 MPG so maybe I can get another small car
