Wait. What?! The base model Corolla now comes with LED headlights? Excellent that a telescoping wheel is standard. Good for us "vertically gifted" folks. 2100 rpm @ 60 for the manual is decent. 1500 for the CVT is redonkulous! 28/37 epa with manual sounds about right for a "lightly refreshed" powertrain. Should be able to push 80+ with effort. I don't normally mention this, but those wheels look horrifically tiny! My old Civic's 13's looked bigger. How did they make 15's look so small?!!!
The LE ECO with the CVT and 15 inch tires is best option for fuel mileage. If you wait until the end of the model year with discounts it could possibly be had for under $17K.
The 80's called and asked for their digital clock back! Seriously, the interior looks fairly refined and then they add the clock that just looks so out of place. It stinks that there will only be two options for the manual, stripped or loaded.
The wheels are fine. But why are the wheel wells designed for gigantic wheels ? I'll have to see the car in person to decide if this is an unfortunate illusion or not. This might not be the best angle to shoot this car from.
I just hate when manufacturers just throw in a clock like that at random. It is time for them to update their website. According to the build I just did, It was come to 22+ for the S with 6spd manual. Otherwise, it looks better than the old one, just don't know if it is enough to sway me to look at one.
