Hi All: A fresh look as to why you would want to own a Reel Mower… Ok, not really but it was a creative vid nonetheless. [flash]http://www.youtube.com/v/0W3I-zlKZZg?version=3[/flash] Wayne
Well, it may be a bit of both? By the way, the best reel mower I have used is the Fisker Momentum - it's a new fangled version that significantly outdoes the classic mowers.
We have a reel mower that we (the boy) use on the long straight sections. The other 2/3 of the lawn I use the Briggs and Stratton. I'd love an electric mower, but we have no electricity outside or in the garage. I don't remember what brand our reel mower is , but I know that the old ones worked better because they were much HEAVIER.
Reel mowers are what used to be known in the UK as "lawnmowers", except they weren't the back-to-basics Mr Choppys for which stores here seem to charge $80-$100. I find it sad that you don't see a single electric mower in the local Home Depot.
