Wayne - I still have the video of you training NASCAR great Carl Edwards back when you guys were looping around the DC area to drive >1000 miles on a tank in the FFH. He was an excellent student - delivering consistent and precise execution of your instructions.

Did you watch the video?:) Did the Hybrid Drive Train Engineers explain how the CMAX was designed to be driven? My video explains it in simple terms.:)

No need for me to watch the video. Wayne is the ultimate source of this information, and the one who coined the term hypermiling. I think it's better to learn from the teacher than from past students.

Rockin' the Cousin Itt look, as always. And note the raised pinky while enjoying the Earl Grey. Class... Pure class.

You Guys are getting off topic, This thread is on 2013 FORD CMAX Hybrid FE and the Facts are Wayne got 37 mpg and average CMAX Drivers on Fuelly gets 39.4 mpg, EPA is 40mpg. There is something wrong with picture, As good as Wayne is he should have gotten atleast 5-10mpg better than the average CMAX Driver you would think. I know I do and I'm not a professional like Wayne.:) My Fuelly Link: www.fuelly.com/car/ford/c-max/2013ptjones/163299 I think the only logical explanation for this is Wayne didn't know how to drive a CMAX/FFH the way the Engineers designed it to be driven which my video explains.:) BTW FORD doesn't have any real instructions in OM so CMAX owners figured it out.:)
