    Hi PriusCpilot:

The C-MAX is a lot nicer vehicle than you think as it has a comfortable and attractive interior (the SEL in particular), good road dynamics, great straight line performance, decent room by comparison to the Focus from which it is derived, and reasonable utility for a more affordable price than the Toyota's it is competing with. It is just that the engineering and marketing was so pervasive at promoting an EPA rating far beyond its actual capability that it is pissing owners off.

It is a really good 41/37/39 mpgUS rated car. It is simply not a great 47/47/47 mpgUS rated one when it comes to customer satisfaction.
