Glorified golf cart lol that was a funny description in the article.

With $2100.00 down I would just lease a the Leaf if they have those great leases.

We need a bonus-malus system or $8 a gallon gas before micro cars take off in the US.

Many people seem quite happy to travel exposed on two wheels, yet feel that to travel enclosed on 4 wheels they need to drive a large vehicle.

They are also offering a $0 down lease at $169/month. At that one dealer in Illinois, anyway.

I leased my 2012 LEAF SL in August for $250/mo for 39 months, $2,500 down. I received back, in CASH, $2,200 to buy my own charger. I'm sure, if you're willing to dicker, you could do better than that.

My '95 Ford Taurus was costing me $250/month in GAS. My Leaf costs me about $15/month for electricity. So, overall, my new car is pretty much free, compared to driving the old Taurus.

I'd look at leases, especially for the LEAF. :)

Sure, KennyG , but what happens at the end of the lease ?

By the way, I loved your work with the Jeff Lorber Fusion.
