Most owners of the tiny Fiat 500 don't think, "Hey, you know what this car needs? A 580-hp V-12 from a Lamborghini Murcielago." In the same breath, most owners don't decide they need a more compact package - like a Fiat 500 - to house said engine. Most, however, is not all, as is showcased with this Oemmedi Meccanica modified Fiat 500. It once held a 3.2 liter Porsche six, a Ferrari V-8, and now it's home to the 6.2 liter Murcielago V-12.

You should see a pack of greyhounds chasing a lab, two will fence the lab (left and right side, they guide the lab), the third grey literally nips at the heels of the desperately trying to get away lab... no contest and the lab thinks its fun. This is how greys run down deer when they were used for hunting.

I liked the bear cub rescue , but I personally think being town to shreds by a mama bear is not a fun way to die.

I rescued a baby skunk who had a conical Yoplait container stuck on its head. Poor lil feller would not be able to eat or drink with that thing on. We trapped him in a large clear plastic bag and got the container off his head without having to reach in the bag. He probably wasn't mature enough to spray , but we weren't taking any chances.

A week later , I saw another (the same?) skunk with a Yoplait container on his head.

    Hi Edwin:

Back in 07, a baby fox got stuck in one of our window wells with the mom fox howling for help. My son and I went out, I climbed down, pulled it out and off it went with its mom. I hope it is living happily in the woods nearby today.

    Hi All:

    This is so Science Cool!

    [flash]http://www.youtube.com/v/oSCX78-8-q0?version=3[/flash]

Scientists at IBM have unveiled the world's smallest stop-motion film made by moving individual atoms. What you're seeing is 100 million times bigger than the original elements.

The movie, "A Boy and His Atom," depicts a boy named Atom who goofs around with an actual atom during 242 single frames of stop-motion action filled with dancing, a game of catch and a trampoline romp. You can check it out below.

The dots were rearranged for each frame with a scanning tunneling microscope, a tool that operates at minus 450 degrees Fahrenheit (minus 268 degrees Celsius) and magnifies the surface more than 100 million times. The tool was invented and built at IBM more than 30 years ago.

It took months of planning and a team of four IBM scientists to run the tool during 18 hour days for about 10 days straight to produce the images, which were then cleaned up and stitched together to make the film.

    Limits of data storage

The tool is used in data storage and computation. Recently, IBM built a hard drive that can store a bit of data with just 12 atoms. The team is also exploring the behavior of atoms in hopes of building a quantum computer.

Such heady research could one day lead to thumb drives that can store every movie ever made and computers that can crack the world's most secure codes.
