    Hi All:

The scariest so far and how would you feel if this driver was taking your kids to school and back?

Worcester Public School bus #29 with kids taken on Feb. 8, 2012. This pic was captured on I-290 East in Worcester, MA. Speed limit is 50 through downtown.

Bus #29 is < 1/2 second behind the Bobtail tractor at 50 to 55 MPH.

    Hi All:

A Ryder rental tractor at > 60 mph on I-95 South near Bridgeport, CT.

Singing “The tractor in my trunk blues” …

The truck number was pulled and Ryder was able to track down the company which in turn pinned down the driver.

    Hi All:

A 20-car pile-up made to order… Notice all the cars ahead trying to inspect each other’s trunk contents at 70 mph? This was on I-91 South in Hartford, CT.

Typical in the Chicago area as well but do not worry, they are not drafting for heaven’s sake

A little more common sense and a lot less “me first” and this could be a lot safer picture.

    Hi Rich:

Can you imagine what kind of stopping distance that guy has when loaded with pipe or whatever is underneath the tarp? His final thoughts before hitting the white whatever is damn it I should have had a little more following distance. What speeds do you estimate they were traveling?

Here is a personal Penske rental truck at 55 mph on I-95 in the south Bronx. I guess this guy or gal failed to read the “instructions”?

Just about every night my wife tells me of almosting being driving off the road on I-44 in OK. They have about 15 mile sectoin they are working on new overpasses for and so typically it is 70 MPH through there but in the construction zone it is 45 and single lane. Last night she stated that an 18 wheeler was trying to bully her in the zone to speed up. She stuck to her 45 and turned on her flashers after he flashed his lights at her and blased his horn. She said he took off at the end of the zone and she passed him again at the weigh station exit just a few miles down the road. I keep telling her to get a window sticker about tailgating and the law. Also to take pictures of the offenders and report them. (is there a reporting agency??)

She just wants to put her hand up in the car (I tell her that this could be taken badly). Or to hold up a sign in the car stating that the speed limit is 45. I worry about her on the road with these ragers. Most of the trucks that fly through the I-44 corridor are doing 70-75 MPH and they don't like (don't WANT) to have to slow down for anyone. They are also about 10-20 feet away from each other and can get within inches of your bumper if you are not moving fast enought for them.

If that's anywhere near Allentown, 78 is a real pain in the arse in that area.
