Let's do that. Dust to Dust has been repeatedly and very thoroughly debunked.

One example, in case you are simply ignorant of the debunking rather than choosing to ignore it: the additional gas that would be required to drive a Hummer the same number of miles we drove last year in our Prius would send our Prius over 2 and 1/4 times around the world. And cars are a very inefficient means of transportation, much less efficient that trains and ships. In other words, it doesn't matter that the Prius is made in Japan since transportation energy costs are very rapidly recovered by improved efficiency.

    WOW !!!!

Dan, I am very sorry to say this but you should have diversified your reading material before even thinking of educating us on this subject. Just to give you an idea of how outrageous your claims are:

    1. As many have stated, the "Dust-to-Dust" has been COMPLETELY and THROUGHLY debunked. Years have passed after that study was published and it been nothing but an eye sore for CNW, and anyone else who references it. To reference it constitutes an AUTOMATIC and embarrassing loss. :(
    2. Wayne and others who already responded to you are absolutely right and you'll be lucky to find fairer and more objective folks anywhere outside our DIVERSE community of members. You will find conservatives, independents and liberals among our ranks all bound by objectivity of our goals and the numbers we bring to the table. And when it comes to numbers you should choose to read and listen. Labelling us as "liberals" is therefore an AUTOMATIC loss as well. Please don't do it unless you wish to dump your credibility at the door.
    3. I wont hide the fact that I am a happy hybrid owner and an evangelist of hybrid tech, but I have also not hidden my desire to see Clean Diesels replace gasoline powered vehicles in ever increasing numbers. Clean Dielsels and hybrids as well as other tech that has been found to work well is something this world urgently needs more of and cherry picking or ignoring the data to favor one tech over another is an AUTOMATIC loss as well.

As Wayne said, please do not hit your head against the wall. It does nothing for anyone except making you look bad... and that my friend, is not what we are here for. :(
