That's what I've been seeing, post update. I've been thinking about just what a recalibration does, and don't like where my thoughts are going. My take: The computer starts to realize it's not getting the juice it expects, given the quantity of regen's and assists, so it stops (or nearly stops) all assist, doesn't allow auto-stop, raises rev's at idle and force charges the pack. It makes a steady, sustained effort to fully charge it, and monitors the state-of-charge more directly. At some point it decides the charging is no longer accomplishing anything, it dubs this point the new full charge, and kicks the display from whatever number of bars are currently showing (say 4~5) to full. Now, the driver is happy, sees the state of charge is restored, albeit abruptly: jumping from 4~5 bars to full. But, how does today's "full" compare to last weeks, back a few recalibrations? I guess there's an outside chance that value is climbing, but I'm not holding my breath.
