    Hi Gabe:

___While I found the opposite to be true regarding acceleration during the Preview pre-launch in San Francisco a few years back, congrats on the great fuel economy!

___And about Phoenix, while many of us Northerners can take big heat for a day or two, Phoenix and much of the desert South West including quite a bit of Texas, truly is hell on earth and when temps are at 115 + and the sun is overhead beating the hell out of everything plus reflecting back up into your face. I would rather be in Alberta for those 4-months out of the year myself.

___I actually dread going to Phoenix/Glendale to visit relatives in the summer months as both the temps and the sun beating down on you is merciless with a capital M!!!

    ___Good Luck

I wonder if my shifting points were too early and I was slightly lugging the engine (it did not seem like it as I was able to accelerate). I have gone back to shifting manually, but somewhere in between where the car would shift and where I was initially shifting. It also allows for a bit more normal driving.
