Subaru Outback diesel

    I have a friend in Europe who has driven one of these. 40+ sity, 50+ highway.

    This time next year the Imprezza and Forester for sure will be here. Fro some reason they are debating on the Outback. That is of course the car Im interested in:rolleyes:......

    A diesel Imprezza would be one heck of a FE car for those who truly need the AWD capability. This is the first I've heard of it but it would be great if Subaru had real plans for the US.

    In my opinion, it'll never come here. Unfortunatly, most of the US isn't all that interested in Diesel. I'd get one in a second if the diesel outback ever came here though!

    If Subaru brought a diesel to the US, it might make up for everything they've done to the Impreza in recent years ;)

    However, if not diesel, at least you can run a little ethanol in the newer Sube's. Some people have been experimenting with E85 mixes and have gotten good results:
