    NICE-ON?

I tried a search and only came up with a few threads that don't offer much if the way of a description?

Any words from the wise on what exactly a NICE-ON is? And what kind of driver/car would benefit from it?

    Hi GreenVtec:

___NICE-On stands for Neutral w/ the Internal Combustion Engine - On. Coasting in Neutral with the motor running is all. If you cannot FAS due to low 12V, own an Auto that cannot (should not be) FAS’ed, when already in fuel cut for an unexpected slow down ahead, will begin accelerating within 8 seconds while not in Fuel Cut or at speeds above 20 - 25 mph for a slow down/droop, a NICE-On is the proper technique vs. a FAS.

    ___Good Luck

For future reference, the question marks near acronyms link to the CleanMPG glossary. Or you can click the Glossary link on the left hand side.

    Thank you Wayne!

Also I have noticed the links from various terms. (Very helpful to say the least) Although the NICE-ON term had no associated link to click.

Only now just discovered the glossary
