From mile marker to mile marker my odometer reads 9/10ths and on long trips, distance traveled on the odometer is always less than mapquest's distances, even simple straight line comparisons like gas station A to gas station B on the same freeway.

When I see a sign that says 20 miles to Exit 8 my odometer is never right. I noticed this more on my recent NC to FL trip as I had never taken the convertible on any long trips (+150 miles) before May of this year and only that one time to Kacey's Honda dealership in Columbia SC.

The upside is if I confirm this discrepancy with a GPS I'll be able to adjust my mileage log by a positive 10%!!! But until I can verify I'll keep on logging as the odometer reads. It's like knowing your gonna get a big boost in mileage one day.

I think I have the same problem, and I can't believe I'm getting beat so bad in the FE runs when I P&G like crazy!
I won't change it until I verify it's wrong, but I have a hunch that one day I need to change my FE for the better.
