you can tell if your FE is increasing by the feel of your foot on the accelerator. you know when to let up to go into lean burn without even looking.

You get upset when you hit 7 MPH when you know you only need to go 6.7 MPH to make it to the crest of a hill.

You get upset when you hit 6.7 mph when you need 7 mph to crest the hill. (watch me rock forward in the seat to make it go farther). LOL!

When you have to hit your brakes for the first and only time on a 27 mile drive because your car glides a little *too* well.

(If I had started my glide about 10 ft. sooner I would have gotten the green light with no braking.)
